about
As early as I can remember, I have loved making all forms of art, and the natural world has served as my inspiration. Growing up in central Florida near the Everglades I was surrounded by fascinating plants and insects, and you can see that through line in all my work. Today I explore from my own garden in Burlington, Vermont, always watching and photographing bugs and plants that I’m drawn to.
During my undergrad I focused on oil painting and photo development. Later I began to pursue jewelry making and design, creating pieces using brass and natural stones. Fifteen years ago my love for working with my hands spilled over into my knitting hobby, allowing me to craft my own clothes from organic fibers like wool and silk.
In the winter of 2023, during a break from knitting, I developed a passion for carving stamps and haven’t been able to stop. I found myself with a pile of stamps and cards featuring the plants and insects I love so much, and knew I had to start sharing them with others. Now I use these carvings to create fine art prints and hand printed textiles. You will also find me piecing quilts to create patches and decorate bags and garments.
I love my work—it’s both my therapy and my biggest source of pleasure. I can’t wait to share it with you.
All prints are 5×7 and 8×10. Bags vary in size but are at least 14×16.
